adella's 2nd grade musical program.

tonight was adella's school talent show and her chosen talent was hula-hooping (also jump-rope hula-hooping). we had a great turnout for the show and the kids were so super awesome. 

i am so proud of my girl.  without even a hint of nervousness, she got right up on stage, in front of hundreds of eyes, and smiled her big bright smile, hula'd the heck out of that hoop, and got a great round of applause afterwards.

(i wish my photos had turned out a little better (she was moving so fast!))

adella made this.  all by herself!
i practically had to sit on my own hands to keep from being "too helpful" and turning her off from the project.  but i kept my distance, and she totally did it!
she's already drawn plans for another one.

adella is EIGHT.  can you believe it?  i hardly can.  how can eight years have passed since this amazing girl came into our lives and changed my entire world?  i don't know how i got so lucky, but i'm glad i did.  i can't imagine my life without my adella.  i am so proud of her!
