new design!

and now, a little show-and-tell.
this is the new design idea that i've been working on -- a family tree.





the tree is a screenprint of my drawing.  
i carved some rubber stamps for the leaf shapes, and can add up to 6 (maybe more) leaves for the kids' names.





i haven't figured out all the details, but here is what i'm thinking:
available on either -
a) heavy weight watercolor paper, frame-ready in 11x14 or 10x13 size, or  
b) kona cotton fabric, mounted and framed in a 12" embroidery hoop.  
the hoop might be painted/stained a darker brown.





for the colorways, 
brown (seen in the hoop), blue (seen on the paper), maybe black with teal leaves?  

totally customizable (is that a word?), with the parents' names stamped in the center, and kids' names on the leaves (which can be arranged in several different ways.)



gosh, it seems like there are so many more details i've been pondering, but i think the rest is just shipping and cost and other fiddly little details --  this is the gist of it.

so, what are your thoughts?
please, gimme some feedback (but be nice, okay?) -- i'd love to know what you all think before i throw this out into the big wide world.
